Affirmly Privacy Policy

Welcome to Affirmly. This Privacy Policy explains what Affirmly does and does not collect when you use our mobile application, available on Google Play and the App Store.

Affirmly works offline and does not require an account. The short version: your affirmations, your favorites, the words you write and your settings stay on your device.

The following is stored only in Affirmly's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded to us, and we have no server that could receive it:

• The lines you save to your Collection.
• The affirmations you write yourself, including any category tag.
• Your category mix and how much of it is your own words.
• Your reminder times, quiet hours, theme, font pairing and text size.
• The days you opened your practice, used only for the "days you showed up" count shown in the app.

The words you write are firewalled. The text of your own affirmations is never included in analytics, never attached to a crash report, and never sent with an advertising request.

Affirmly shows ads supplied by Google AdMob on a small number of screens. Ads never appear inside the practice feed, in the editor where you write your own words, or on any widget.

To serve ads, Google AdMob may collect and process advertising identifiers and related device and diagnostic information. Where required, Affirmly presents Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected. Affirmly does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Affirmly requests notification permission only, and only at the moment you add a reminder — never at launch. If you decline, every other part of the app continues to work.

Affirmly does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or files.

Affirmly is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Because your content lives on your device, you control it directly: remove a saved line or a written affirmation in the app at any time, or uninstall Affirmly to delete all of it at once.

Where a consent choice applies to advertising, you can change it from the app's settings.

Affirmly offers kind words for your days. It is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional care. If things feel heavy beyond hard-day heavy, a professional can help.

If Affirmly's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change ships, and the store listing's data disclosures will be updated with it.
