Privacy Policy

Aura does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your personal data on our own servers. Your saved widgets, applied kits, favorites, recents and settings are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us. Photos: if you make a photo widget, you choose a picture with the system picker; Aura keeps a copy of that picture inside the app on your device and only sees the pictures you pick. On iOS, Aura can also save wallpapers and icons to Photos when you ask it to (add-only). Aura shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some data directly from the app in order to show ads, and in-app purchases are handled by the app stores, as described below.

We do not receive your personal data, so there is no information for us to use or process. Widgets, wallpapers, icons and kits are created and applied on your device; an internet connection is used only for ads, in-app purchases, app updates and downloading fonts. On iOS, the designs you save (including a photo widget's picture) are shared with Aura's own home-screen and lock-screen widgets through storage on your device, never through a server. Backups are files you create and keep yourself; a backup includes the pictures of your photo widgets, so treat it like any other file containing your photos.

We do not sell or share your personal data ourselves. Advertising: to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, Google AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle) collect data from your device, including your device advertising identifier, your IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), your interactions with the app and its ads, and diagnostic information; this data is encrypted in transit. On Android, ads may be personalized: where your region requires consent (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked first, and in US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data; you can change these choices at any time from the privacy options in the app's Settings. On iOS we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission, and ads are not personalized. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. Purchases: payments for Aura Pro are processed by Google Play or the App Store; on iOS, purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase records (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). Fonts: Aura downloads some typefaces from Google Fonts the first time they are shown, and Google receives your IP address with that request (https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy). Updates and ratings: on Android, Aura asks Google Play whether a newer version is available and lets you install it in the app; when Aura asks for a rating, the Google Play or App Store rating prompt is shown, and anything you submit goes to the store, not to us. Your creations stay on your device.

Your creations and settings are stored locally on your device, and data sent to our advertising and purchase partners is encrypted in transit.

We do not retain any personal information on our own servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time in the app or by uninstalling the application. Data collected by Google AdMob and RevenueCat is retained according to their privacy policies.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
