Privacy Policy

At Sunday, we prioritize your privacy and data security. We do not collect any personal data from our users. All of your tasks, subtasks, lists, recurring schedules, reminders, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server of ours. Sunday works entirely offline — there is no account, no sign-up, and no cloud sync. Your planner never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself.

If you grant permission, Sunday can read your device's local calendar so that your existing events appear alongside your tasks in the weekly view. This access is strictly read-only: Sunday never creates, edits, or deletes your calendar events, and the events it reads are never uploaded, stored off your device, or shared with us or anyone else. This permission is optional — the app works fully without it, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

Sunday can send you local notifications — per-task reminders and an optional weekly planning nudge. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. There is no push server, and we do not receive any information when a notification is shown. You can disable notifications at any time in the app or your device settings.

Sunday displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob to support free access to the app. Google AdMob may collect certain device and advertising identifiers in order to serve ads, in accordance with Google's own privacy and advertising policies. On iOS, Sunday serves non-personalized ads only and does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt or track you across other apps and websites. We do not have access to or control over the data collected by AdMob, and ads are never shown over the weekly planner views. Since we do not collect any personal user data, there is no information for us to use or process. All data generated by your use of the app — including tasks, lists, recurring schedules, and reminders — remains entirely on your device and is never accessed by us.

We do not share any personal data with third parties because we do not collect any. The only third-party service integrated into the app is Google AdMob for advertising purposes, which operates under its own privacy policy. Any data you choose to export, print, or back up (for example, a backup file or a printable plan) is shared only by you, through your own device's share sheet, to destinations you choose.

The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. All application data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your planner data over the internet, which means your tasks and schedules are always under your control. Because your data lives on your device, the app can never lock you out of your own plans.

Since we do not collect any user data, we do not retain any personal information on external servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app, or by uninstalling the application. You can also export a full backup at any time so that you, not us, hold the copy.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We are dedicated to complying with the Google Play Families Policy. Our app is designed to be appropriate for all users and adheres to the content guidelines set forth by Google Play. We ensure our advertising practices meet the requirements for apps that may be used by families.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
