Privacy Policy

Sunday does not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your personal data on our own servers. All of your tasks, subtasks, lists, recurring schedules, reminders, notes and settings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us; there is no sign-up and no cloud sync. Your planner never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it yourself. Sunday shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some data directly from the app in order to show ads, and in-app purchases are handled by the app stores, as described below.

If you grant permission, Sunday can read your device's local calendar so that your existing events appear alongside your tasks in the weekly view. This access is strictly read-only: Sunday never creates, edits, or deletes your calendar events, and the events it reads are never uploaded, stored off your device, or shared with us or anyone else. This permission is optional — the app works fully without it, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

Sunday can send you local notifications — per-task reminders and an optional weekly planning nudge. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. There is no push server, and we do not receive any information when a notification is shown. You can disable notifications at any time in the app or your device settings.

Sunday shows ads from Google AdMob to support free access to the app, mainly a full-screen ad when you return to the app after being away. To serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob and its mediation partners Unity Ads, ironSource (Unity LevelPlay) and Liftoff (Vungle) collect data from your device, including your device advertising identifier, your IP address (from which an approximate location may be derived), your interactions with the app and its ads, and diagnostic information; this data is encrypted in transit. Ads may be personalized only as your choices allow: where your region requires consent (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) you are asked first, and in US states with privacy laws you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your data; you can change these choices at any time from “Manage privacy choices” in the app's Settings. On iOS, Sunday does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so ads are not personalized and are not based on tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings. Ads never appear inside the task editor or other open sheets. We do not receive your personal data, so there is no information for us to use or process. Your tasks, lists, recurring schedules and reminders stay on your device and are never accessed by us; an internet connection is used only for ads and in-app purchases.

We do not sell or share your personal data ourselves. Google AdMob and its mediation partners collect data for advertising as described above. Purchases of Sunday Pro are processed by Google Play or the App Store; on iOS, purchase status is verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase records (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy). Any data you choose to export, print or back up (for example, a backup file or a printable plan) is shared only by you, through your own device's share sheet, to destinations you choose.

The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. All application data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit your planner data over the internet, which means your tasks and schedules are always under your control. Because your data lives on your device, the app can never lock you out of your own plans.

We do not retain any personal information on our own servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app, or by uninstalling the application. You can also export a full backup at any time so that you, not us, hold the copy. Data collected by Google AdMob and RevenueCat is retained according to their privacy policies.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
