Privacy Policy

At Vision Test, we prioritize your privacy and data security. We do not run servers that collect your data, and the app needs no account. Your test results, settings and calibration data are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us. The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or location. The only data that leaves your device is what the third-party services described below (advertising and, on iOS, purchases) need to work.

Vision Test shows ads served by Google AdMob, which keeps the app free. To deliver, measure and limit ads (for example frequency capping and fraud prevention), Google may collect information from your device such as its advertising ID, IP address, device type, approximate location and how you interact with ads. On iOS, Vision Test requests non-personalized ads and does not ask to track you across other apps. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choice before any ad is requested, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Options. Google's use of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. The tests themselves work offline.

We do not sell or share your test results with anyone. The app uses these third-party services, each under its own privacy policy: Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (ads and ad consent, see above); and, on iOS, Apple's App Store and RevenueCat to process and verify the optional one-time Vision Test Pro purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device, your purchase receipt and basic device information (such as OS version and IP address); it never receives your name, email or test results. Payments are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your payment details.

The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. All app data is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot access. We do not transmit your test results over the internet; they stay on your device unless you choose to share a result.

Since we do not collect any user data, we do not retain any personal information on external servers. All application data is stored locally on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling the application.

Vision Test is intended for educational and screening purposes only. It is NOT a medical diagnosis tool. Test results are indicative and should not be interpreted as a clinical diagnosis. For any clinical concern about your vision or color perception, please consult a qualified eye care professional.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
